Sustainability Pledge New Electric Inc. pledges the following principles will govern our actions. Our primary objectives regarding Sustainability Practices and Policies (where ever feasible) include, but are not limited to • Purchase recycled materials • Recycle waste (paper, plastic, aluminum, conductors, etc.) • New Electric is committed to increased recycling, reuse, and composting efforts. • Carpool to jobsite • Print on both sides of paper • Save documents digitally versus paper copy • Maintain electronic communications, such as emailing customer correspondence, invoices, signatures, contracts, etc. • Employees are encouraged to use reusable H2O bottles in order to maintain personal hydration • Purchase and use of non-toxic and bio-degradable cleaning supplies are strongly encouraged where applicable • conserve energy at every opportunity by keeping thermostats in moderate ranges • change vehicle filters regularly • drive within posted speed limits • do not idle vehicle longer than a few minutes, or not all all • turn off lights when not in use


Do No Harm/Responsible Travel Our company values and protects our clean mountain living since we directly benefit from all our backyard delights. We are surrounded by the 2.3 million acre forest and wilderness areas. New Electric employees are themselves stewards in sustaining and protecting our lands and resources by leading by example. We behave according to no trace hiking and camping, proper waste disposal, and obeying USFS and BLM trail closures and special use restrictions.

New Electric teams up with Stephen's Nursery to help prep for installation of Eagle Valley HIgh School's Baseball team's new scoreboard.

On Saturday May 17th, 2014, NEI partnered with Starting Hearts to install seven AEDs throughout Eagle Vail, all of which were purchased by Eagle Vail’s community. The electricians volunteered their time to run power for AEDs at the Pavilion, the Pool, Tennis Courts, and the Clubhouse, among other various places.
